Keeping Houston Strong
Hurricane Harvey made landfall along the Middle Texas Coast in late August, however its devastating impacts are still felt now and will continue for months to come. Harvey was a truly historic hurricane that Houston just wasn’t prepared for. And although it’s going to take time to pick up the pieces, we are helping to “Keep Houston Strong” with our Harvey Recovery Campaign.
On Tuesday, October 10th, 2017, Impact Interiors owner, Amy George, arranged furniture and monetary donations to assist over 15 families that were affected by Hurricane Harvey. There were a number of hands that assisted in making this recovery campaign a great success. Various sponsors and numerous volunteers donated their time and monetary funds to provide relief for those that lost everything during the storm. Donations consisted of furniture, linens, home accessories, gift cards and teddy bears for each of the family’s children.

If you are in Texas, there are many ways you can contribute including donating food, clothing, diapers to local shelters. You can also donate blood; the biggest need is O positive and O negative. Here’s a recent post from CNN on “How you can Help the Victims of Hurricane Harvey”.
