FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Texas Real Estate Staging Association Names Their 2016 President
Local Businesswoman, Amy George, of Impact Interiors Takes Up the Mantle
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 28, 2016 — The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) recently named Austin businesswoman, Amy George, Texas State President 2016. George, a home staging expert and owner of Impact Interiors, has been a RESA member since 2010. During her time at RESA, she has been instrumental in boosting the Austin chapter’s membership, as well as increasing awareness of RESA within the real estate community.
As RESA Texas State President, she will continue to develop membership and foster new chapters within the state. George says one of her goals is to establish an installation in San Antonio. In addition to the Austin chapter, RESA currently has chapters in Dallas and Houston.
“As the 2016 RESA Texas State President, my goal is to help secure the foundation within our individual chapters, and to increase growth within each chapter,” George said. “The chapter in Houston has been in existence for a couple of months. I’m intent on growing their chapter the way we did in Central Texas. RESA will also continue to promote general awareness through education about and throughout our industry. I believe that, while serving as (RESA) Texas State President, my passion and energy will help our industry continue to grow.”
The second Biennial Texas Conference for home stagers will take place this Fall in Austin. George and RESA board members will plan and host this educational event. It will feature speakers, workshops and networking opportunities for the home staging industry.
Along the lines of education, George says another of RESA headquarters’ goals is for all RESA chapters to have a home staging class in each Board of Realtors around the country. As such, George is one of Austin Board of Realtors (ABoR) newest instructors. She brings her home staging expertise and two MCE courses to the organization.
